Graduated with Honours in 1988 from Plymouth University (UK) with Bachelor of Engineering, in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Prince 2 Project Management Practioner and Project Management Professional PMP trained.

Chartered Engineer and a member of the British Board of Engineers, a fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers USA and a Fellow of Bahrain Society of Engineers.

UK Graduate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Glamorgan and since graduation in 1979 worked in the Oil & Gas Industry; Bangas and Banoco/ Bapco in the Technical and Engineering departments until 1986. In 1985 Established Mercury Contracting Centre (W.L.L.);

Specialized in heat Insulation, Concrete treatment and Waterproofing, developed the company to be the leading company in its field with a workforce of 200 staff. Later on, established Mercury Global WLL as consultant office focusing on developing a number of activities in the field of Engineering and business management.
